5 weeks away

I have no idea how to write a blog, so I'll just start by throwing my thoughts as of today down:

• This is no longer feeling like a thing that's in the distant future, it feels quite real. I like that.
• I have no second thoughts; this is obviously the right choice.
• I'm most nervous about getting injured because I hike too much too early. I can mentally handle the risk of maladies due to freak accidents, nature, the unknown, etc.
• I can't believe that I now I have a third boss, since committing to this idea, that I have to tell I'm not going to be working for 6 months. I really hope he is okay with it...
• Feeling extremely lucky I get to do this.
• Also feeling lucky I didn't opt for an early start given the all snow and cold weather across the country.
• Making this website was really fun.
